Picnic in the Park

I love finding different parks in the area. I keep finding or hearing about new ones all the time. This past week we got to enjoy a picnic in the park on Serge's day off. And since our extended forecast looks rainy and gloomy I'll look back on these pictures often this week. =) I do love spring, but rain, even just one day of it, causes both Adelaide and I to go a little stir crazy! April showers bring May flowers.

Officially Official

 Went to court today to make it officially official, so thankful to celebrate with family and friends. What a gift it is to be able to adopt. I'm grateful we live in a place where it is supported and celebrated. We celebrated with a picnic in Falls Park on this beautiful day! Lots of blessings surrounding today!

And we celebrated with purple frosted cupcakes. Adelaide was grateful for that, of course. =)

Easter and Spring Break (you know, 3 weeks ago)

Not that we have spring break, but my sister's kids do! =) And they came to visit us!

 We had perfect weather for a bonfire. What do you think of our roasting sticks!? It was a pretty hot fire, didn't want to get too close. =)

We had a great time and can't wait to see everyone again. Adelaide and Lillian loved being entertained by their cousins!
